Japanese festival

Japanese festival is an interesting event that I always attend. why is so interesting for me? Because there are so many new things that we don't know. Sometimes when we there we can feel the atmosphere like we were in Japan. Use the imagination for it and you can enjoy it. I always dream if someday I can go to Japan then I want to visit Tokyo the capital city of Japan. I like the culture and also the people. Smart and cool.


Now I want to tell you about many things that we can see or enjoy when we attend this event. Japanese Festival is usually held in a university or if the event is big it usually held in a famous place in Jakarta or other city. It usually show us about the culture of Japan, about the food, the tradition, the sport, band, and cosplay. (costume Player). Now I will explain one by one.


Japanese Culture
For many people, the mention of japanese culture conjours up images of weird masks and extravagantly made up actors twirling red umbrellas on a stage and elegant, Kimono-clad ladies demurely pouring cup of tea in tranquil cherry-blossomed. Well, even today you can experience all that kind of stuff if you know where to look.


The Japanese performing arts have made some unique contributions to world culture :

• Musical instrument 

The quiter and more  contemplative arts have developed followings world-wild

Cosplay
Cosplay (costume play)  is a type of performance in which participants don costumes and accessories to represent  a specific or idea. Characters are often drawn from popular fiction from Japan, but recent trends have included American cartoons and science fiction. Favorite sources include manga, anime, tokosatsu, comic books, graphic novels, video games, hentai, and fantasy movie. The sensation is we can meet a fiction characters from our favorite anime or tokosatsu. Take a photograph with Cosplayer, it's really fun. If we so interested with it we can also be a cosplayer.

Japanese Band

Japanese band have a unique style that different from other country. They also have their own genre. The genre from Japanese band is Visual Kei, this is the popular genre. But not all the band use this genre. For a people who really interested in everything about Japan like me needs some music to complete everything. But, I can't meet my favorite band from Japan because their too far. So, I'm glad in Indonesia there are some bands who covering the Japanese band. The covering band usually perform in Japanese festival. Their style is the same as Japanese band. Wow... although they're not perfect but I like them.

Tokyo Jihen

After watching the Music Video from Tokyo Jihen, I will tell you about this band. not much but I'll share some info.  The band name is Tokyo Jihen, I guess everyone can guess where are they come from? Of course from Japan. This bnad started by Ringo  Shiina after leaving her solo career. The band's debut single Gunjo Biyori was released in September 2004. 
Now, I'll introduce the member of this band. 
Ringo Shiina (shinna Ringo)

• active : 2003-present
• Instruments : Lead vocals, electric guitars, acoustic guitar,piano, electronic keyboards, melodica, kazoo
• Real name ; Yumiko Shiina.. Shiina is a famous female singer-songwriter in Japan.  She is the founder and the leader of this group. She initially  wrote almost all songs of Tokyo Jihen. But now shares songwriting duties with the other bandmembers.

Seiji Kameda (Kameda seiji)

• Active : 2003-present 
• Instruments : Bass guitar, double bass, electric upright bass. 
• Kameda is a music producer and a music arranger of many musicians and session basist. He know Shiina Ringo before her debut and he has supported her since them. Shiina Ringo calls him "shisho"  (master or teacher). He rose  to fame with her and became a famous producer, but he devotes himself  to only playing the bass guitar in Tokyo Jihen. He produces many musicians such as Angela Aki, Yui Aragaki, Ayaka, Chara, Chatmonchy, Do As Infinity, Elephant Kashimashi, Flow, Fujifabric, Ayaka Hirahara, kan Hirai, Ikimono-gakari, and many more.

Toshiki Hata  (hata Toshiki)

• Active : 2003-present 
• Instruments : Drums, Percusion 
• Hata has played the drums as a session musician and a tour musician of farious musicians, such as Mika Nkashima, Dreams Come True, and Fujifabric. Moreoverhe was the drummer in the band of Junpei Shiina. Shiina's elder brother. 

Ukigumo ( The driffing cloud ) 

• Active : 2005-Present
• Instruments : Electric guitar, acoustic guitar, backing vocals, rapping
• Real name, Ryosuke Nagaoka. Ukigumo is an old friend from Shiina, and he had played in a band with Ringo's elder brother Junpei Shiina, with Hata and Tabu Zombie. then he join Shiina Ringo in Tokyo Jihen

Ichiyo Izawa (Izawa Ichiyo) 

• Active : 2005-present 
• Instruments : Piano, Electronic keyboard, electric guitar, background vocal
• Real name, Keitaro Iawa . 

The genre of this band is jass. Something unique from this band, when you hear the vocal of this band singig you can feel the unique voice form the vocalist. The title of the music video above is Killer Tune really nice song, nice beat, and nice melody. Please nejoy the video and the song.  Arigatou Gozaimas.

This is the best movie I've ever seen. The film is writen and directed  by Daniel Bamz. The story is bassed on  fairytale Beauty and The Beast. But set in modern-day New York city. Vanessa Hudgens and  Alex Pattyfer are the actor and actress who played in this film. I really like the story very much. The plot  focuses on Kyle  Kingson (Alex Pattyfer) a wealthy and arrogant high school student. During and environmental event, he is disrespectful to a classmate who is secretly a witch and disguise. The witch then casts a spell on Kyle disfigure his body and face, giving him one year to find love or be left with his monstrous appearance forever. You know what the interesting part is because of that speel and curse Kyle is changing into a kind person and not arrogant anymore. He start to care about people around him. He knows now how it feels to be an ugly person. Because of that to he found his true love. And for the girl. I really appreciate her atitude because she never look kyle is ugly but she still love him and accept everything although Kyle is ugly.


Wow.. I wonder if in the reality there's a people like Lindy Taylor (Vanessa Hudgens). I wonder of there's a person who never judge someone from his/her cover, but look inside her/his heart. I wish I can meet someone like that someday. So, Just watch this movie. I'm sure you can feel the sensation after watch this movie. I tell you once again, watch this Movie if you want to know the full  story of Beastly. Thank you.
